Certificated Class Schedule

Dear friends,

Those who build a spiritual home at 1195 Clark Street do so because of a connection that transcends comprehension; it is a connection of the heart. Time and time again I hear stories of miracles and transformation in the lives of people who have made a home out of this community. Some transformations take time and some seem to happen overnight, and the majority of transformation most often will occur in the classrooms of our Center.

Personal e-volvement seems to have a direct correlation to personal in-volvement. Are the individuals fully involved in their own spiritual lives? Do they pray, meditate, and serve Spirit by selflessly serving others? Do they study? Do they share? In short, are they taking full advantage of the tools that facilitate transformation and foster meaningful lives?

Our classes are as diverse as our community, and our Education Team is here to offer members and friends the spiritual tools for experiencing life at a more prosperous, meaningful and fulfilling level.  Our purpose at the Center is: “transforming LIVES building DREAMS revealing LOVE.” I encourage you to begin your transformation by taking advantage of the myriad of adult education classes scheduled throughout this academic year.

REGISTRATION AND POLICY INFORMATION

The Center for Spiritual Living Adult Education program gives adults of all ages the opportunity to journey more deeply within through study, prayer with others and by practicing spiritual principles in their daily lives.

Visit our Registration tables in the Fellowship Hall during pre-registration Sundays for more information.

ATTENDANCE: Instructors will inform you of requirements and policies during the first class.

PRE-REGISTRATION: Please register in advance.  This helps us serve you better by ensuring that we have the appropriate space and supplies available, along with the required number of students (some classes have a minimum) for classes to be held.

CHILD CARE: Child care may be offered for Beyond Limits or Foundations, but not for other classes.

REQUIRED TEXTS FOR CLASSES: For a list of required books for classes, inquire at the Retail Center.

CERTIFICATED CLASSES PRICING FEE TUITION STRUCTURE:

8-week class: $160 + 50 = $210 At the door: $225

10-week class:  $200 + 50 = $250 At the door: $265

11-week class:  $220 + 50 = $270 At the door: $285

12-week class:  $240 + 50 = $290 At the door: $305

REGISTRATION FEE: $50 This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable and is paid by every student whether they are staff, senior, teen or Practitioner.  Class audits require proof of course completion and a small materials fee.

REFUND REQUESTS: As stated above, the $50 registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.  If a student needs to drop the class within the first two weeks due to circumstances beyond their control, all tuition (minus the $50 registration) will be refunded.  If a student drops the class after the second week, they have forfeited any refund, however, the tuition will carry over so they can take the class next time it is offered.  (Note:  the $50 registration fee must be paid the next time, that does not carry over.)

AUDITS: $50 There is a $50 materials fee for anyone who is auditing a class. An audit is possible only for a course that has been taken and completed successfully within the last 5 years. Should the course have been taken at another Center, the student is required to present the certificate or a copy of it Centers for Spiritual Living or their former Center.

SENIORS: $50

TEENS: Free tuition to anyone under 18 years of age (the $50 registration or the audit fee is still required however.)
